We don’t always find ourselves among the many current knowledge when we’re involved in our wellbeing. Passeport Santé outlines 10 tips for you to help you preserve or boost your health, depending on the specific situation.
Supervise Your Diet
Food is a major determinant of our wellbeing. In general, reducing your intake of salt, refined sugar, saturated fatty acids (meat, dairy products), trans fatty acids (some kinds of margarine), favoring unsaturated fatty acids (oleaginous, fatty fish, vegetable oils), fruits, vegetables, and whole grains is recommended. It is better to avoid industrial plates and meals taken outdoors for the same reasons.
Do Daily Sporting Events
Physical activity helps to maintain your figure, promotes longevity, and helps to prevent immune function declines. Unless you do not practice a sport, it is recommended that you walk at a steady pace for 30 minutes a day.
Drink Plentiful Water
Water is important for all critical processes, and a drink of 1 to 2 liters a day is usually recommended. The feeling of thirst is already a sign of dehydration so the distribution of your water intake throughout the day is crucial.
Replace Coffee With Tea
Waking up in the morning is tea, and green tea, in particular, a perfect alternative to coffee. Indeed, it is much richer in antioxidants that help prevent cardiovascular disease, some cancers, and other aging-related illnesses.
Tobacco causes many serious disorders, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer (and more specifically lung cancer), infertility, or chronic bronchitis. While quitting smoking is not a simple job, it is a crucial step towards improved health.
Seek to limit office seating
Office job leads to a sedentary lifestyle causing health conditions like obesity or back pain. As well as increasing focus, moving around during the lunch break, getting up to take daily breaks, will reduce the harm done by a sedentary lifestyle.
Our body is regenerating and rebuilding itself overnight, which is why having a good night’s sleep is important. The average adult needs 7-9 hours of nightly sleep so find your rhythm! Being able to be successful during the day is proof you’ve been sleeping well.
Increasing the number of everyday tasks raises tension, so being able to take breaks in your lifestyle is important. So take the time to do an activity daily that makes you feel good: a nap, reading, or even watching a film.
To Go Out
We are sociable people, and being part of a club, an organization, a sports team … helps us to build an identity and to strengthen our mental and physical health. In comparison, single individuals are at increased risk of morbidity and mortality
Have a Passion or Pursue a Goal
Every action or purpose which is close to our hearts, whatever it may be, is a guiding force and helps to give meaning to one’s life which is perfect for morality. The fact that you don’t know where to go will lead to many questions, and eventually, cause depression.
