1. Eat Healthy, Balanced Diets

2. Do Regular Physical Activity

3. Drink Loads of Water

So make sure you’ve got enough water in a day to get on top. Doctors advise a person to drink between 1.5 and 2 liters of water a day. A statistic that can be updated upwards to remain hydrated in case of excessive heat like this summer or while you are playing a sport.
4. Have Enough Sleep
Knew you were sleeping for almost 25 years of your life? This means if sleep has a predominant part in our existence and shouldn’t be neglected. Yet your sleep time is heavily impacted with work, education, family, and all the other stresses found in daily life. And this can harm your wellbeing. Lack of sleep may affect your mood, mental health, physical condition, which may interfere with your metabolism or may increase the risk of contracting certain diseases. Too many reasons to drive you to change your lifestyle so you can get enough hours of sleep. The average number of hours’ sleep depends on your age, according to the American National Sleep Foundation. For newborns, this ranges from 14 to 17 hours a day to 7 to 8 hours for seniors (over 65). An adolescent (ages 14 to 17) will require 8 to 10 hours of sleep, a young adult (ages 18 to 25) 7 to 9 hours, and an adult (ages 26 to 64) 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Of course, these are signs and so it all depends on the individuals.
5. Stop Taking Too Much Alcohol and Smoking
Once again, perhaps this is something that makes sense for you. But cigarettes and tobacco are strongly discouraged, in order to be in good health. Smoking is the number one Worldwide preventable cause of death. Tobacco is the direct cause of 5.4 million deaths in 2004, and 100 million deaths during the 20th century, according to the World Health Organization.
Alcohol is another significant cause of death: it is related to 2.6 million deaths in 2016 worldwide. “The most surprising result is that alcohol consumption, even in small amounts, contributes to the global loss of health,” says research head Emmanuela Gakidou, professor of public health at Washington University. “We’re used to hearing that one or two glasses of alcoholic beverages are perfect, but the evidence points to another. The formula to completely avoid alcohol and cigarettes if you want to remain safe and should be banned, even in moderation!
That can sound easy to tell. Still, occasionally, you need to mentally “disconnect” and recover from your everyday life. It can include a calming activity that can be done by yourself or in groups (yoga, relaxation …). Emptying your mind can only help your body, particularly if you follow the tips above!
7. Take Your Time, and Do What You Enjoy
Again it’s easy to say but it’s hard to do sometimes. Because it’s also difficult to take time for yourself in the chaos of daily life, between metro-work-sleep. As mentioned above, not solely for relaxing. But going out, seeing friends, attending an activity (sports, culture …), meeting your family … For the personal equilibrium, these are all vital moments.
